Zoeva Sweet Glamour Blush Palette

I've always been a fan of blushes, despite having naturally red cheeks. I don't feel like my makeup is complete without a swipe of colour. Lately, I've been looking to expand my blush collection. I have a few singles by Miss Sporty, Sleek etc, and a Makeup Revolution palette, but I wanted something that would last me longer throughout the day and that wasn't as initially pigmented as some of the ones I already own.

On BeautyBay, I stumbled across the Zoeva Sweet Glamour Blush Palette and I was instantly smitten. The colours are pastel and baby pinks with a gorgeous white highlight. I had to have it. I'm a fan of Zoeva and their Cocoa Blends Palette is my go-to (and absolute favourite palette that I own).

You can tell from the swatches that it took a couple of goes to get this level of colour, which is exactly what I was after. I wanted a buildable product that I could layer to my heart's content.

My only issue with these blushes are that they are slightly chalky. But this can all be remedied on application by using a stippling brush, like this Freedom one, and I have no problem with that. Especially for the price. The palette costs £13, whereas you'd easily pay more for three singles.

I found that Ideal Love is the sheerest of the three, needing more layers to show on the skin. Below is just one application. It's barely there.

Whereas, Sweet Escape is more intense right off the bat. I definitely prefer this colour out of all three in the palette. This is one heavy-handed application, but it still looks natural on top of my contour.

And lastly, Interpretation of Dreams is glowy af. This might be a bit too pale for me right now, but once my freckles fade in the winter it should work. I love it. It's gorgeously bright and blends beautifully. This is just once little dip into the pan.

This palette is a great addition to my small makeup collection. Zoeva is an affordable higher end brand that I will continue to purchase from and would recommend to anyone who wants something a bit fancier than drugstore, but doesn't want to commit to anything expensive.

  1. Really loving the look of these! I'm always intimidated by blushes because they're all so intense but this looks way more natural and buildable. x

    1. They are probably some of the better blushes I've owned. My all-time favourite was a No7 blusher/bronzer block that was discontinued a few years ago, but this is a close second.
